Kelly and Garyantes Named to USCAA All Academic Baseball Squad

Williamson baseball players Vince Garyantes and Joe Kelly were recently named to the 2023 USCAA Baseball All-Academic squad.  Both were starters and key members of the team this past season.

In order to be considered for the honor, players must either be a starter or have significantly contributed to the team's success.  In addition, they must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.50 or higher. Freshmen are not eligible for the honor.

Garyantes played third base and also pitched for the team, while Kelly was a standout first baseman for the Mechanics.  Garyantes made the squad in 2022 as well, while Kelly made the USCAA All Academic team for football this past Fall. 

Those two join freshman All-American Cody Grande, as well as all Eastern States Athletic Conference team members Joshua Illing and Samuel Coppa as post season award winners for the baseball team this past season.
