MEDIA, Pa. – A late comeback attempt by the Williamson College of the Trades soccer came up short as the Mechanics fell 6-2 to the No. 8 Central Penn Knights on Wednesday night.
NOTABLE
- Williamson conceded a couple of quick goals, but tightened up the defense, holding CP off the board again until the later stages of the first half.
- The Knights pounced early in the second half.
- WT continued to send the ball forward, creating chances. The move paid off in the 82nd minute when Triston Seales made a strong run down the right side before delivering a perfect pass to Marcos Karasavas who buried the ball lower right.
- Continuing to battle, the Mechanics got the ball into the box, but were fouled. Owen Murnin-Papurt stepped to the spot and converted the PK in the 86th minute.
