MEDIA, Pa. - Seven different players found the back of the cage as the Williamson College of the Trades lacrosse team downed Mercer Comminuty College, 12-2 on Tuesday night.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Martin Marker led the Mechanics with four goals on the day.
- Anthony Zollo and Kaseem Cotton each netted two.
- Rob Wagner, Seamus Bohannon, Quinn Kennedy and Chase Thompson scored one apiece.
- Kennedy added three assists. Wagner had two.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wagner got the scoring going less than two minutes into the contest.
- After Mercer tied the game 73 seconds later, the Mechanics tallied twice more in the first and then five times in the second, building an 8-1 lead at halftime.
- MCC found rope first in a low scoring third quarter. Thompson followed with 38 seconds remaining in the frame.
- Williamson scored the only three goals of the fourth period, including Marker's fourth of the game.
