MEDIA, Pa. - The Williamson College of the Trades lacrosse team won its fourth consecutive game, taking down Drexel, 5-3, in a defensive battle on Thursday night.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Offensively, Rob Wagner and Seamus Bohannon led the way with two goals apiece
- Ethan DiMaio also found the back of the cage.
- Colin Wintrode made 15 saves and had an 83.3 save percentage for the game. He also added an assists.
- Williamson went 6-for-7 in the faceoff circle.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Mechanics jumped out early as Wagner scored 86 seconds into the contest. Bohannon added his first of the game midway through the first, giving Williamson a 2-0 edge into the second quarter.
- WT extended the lead to 3-0 five and a half minutes into the second stanza on a goal by DiMaio.
- Drexel came back with two tallies 80 seconds apart to cut the edge to 3-2 at halftime.
- The Mechanics recorded the only goal of the third as Wagner scored on a pass from Hayden McGinnis.
- DU pulled back to within a goal in the fourth, but Bohannon put the game away on a score with 32 seconds remaining.

Williamson heads on the road for the first time this month with a trip to SJU on Saturday at noon.
