Cross Country Places Fourth at USCAA Nationals

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. - Bryan Hernandez took home a top-10 finish and the Williamson College of the Trades cross country team placed fourth out of 16 squads at the USCAA National Championships on Saturday afternoon. 

 

Additionally, Hernandez was named Runner of the Year and Steve Hixson was named Coach of the Year.

 

Hernandez placed eighth in the 67 runner field with a time of 29:47.70 on the 8k course. Joseph Gambrill was 19th, clocking in at 31:34.40. Also ranking in the top half of the field was Mark Carellas, who crossed the finish line in 29th at 32:33.70.
