MEDIA, Pa. – The Williamson College of the Trades Mechanics battled the Connecticut State Wildcats in their home opener on Saturday, falling 32-0.
NOTABLES
- The Mechanics run defense was excellent during the contest, holding the Wildcats to five yards of rushing on 31 carries.
- Carson Steinruck led WT with 29 yards on the ground. Joseph Collachi carried six times for 20 yards.
- Steinruck also had an excellent day punting the ball, booting it five times for an average of 44.4 yards per kick and had a long of 63.
- Ryan Creegan led the defense with eight tackles.
- As a team, Williamson recorded nine tackles for loss, totaling 69 yards.

The Mechanics remains at home, taking on CAPP Academy on Saturday, September 20. Kickoff from Harvey Field is scheduled for noon.
