Lacrosse to Play for the 2025 NCLL Liberty Division Crown this Sunday
The Williamson College of the Trades lacrosse team will play for the 2025 NCLL Liberty Division title this Sunday night, May 4 at Kelly Field in West Chester. The game will begin at 6:00 P.M.
Williamson, currently ranked #6 in the nation in the latest NCLL Division II poll, earned the right to play for the title by taking down Rowan University in their semifinal match-up this past Sunday. Williamson used a strong fourth quarter to win a hard fought 6-4 win over the Profs.
Williamson will play the winner of the other semifinal game to be played this Saturday, May 3 between #1 ranked West Chester and Drexel University. Williamson lost to West Chester in their first game of the season by a score of 13-6. The Mechanics defeated Drexel 10-4.
West Chester and Williamson played for the same title in 2023 in a game that was a close one until the fourth quarter. Williamson trailed just 6-5 heading into the final stanza before West Chester took over for an 11-5 win.
The winner of Sunday's championship game advances to the national Final Four at the University of Maryland.
