Mechanics Get Right Back to Winning
After coming close to pulling off a huge upset Friday night, the Williamson lacrosse team got right back to winning, as they downed host Rowan University in an NCLL Liberty division game by a score of 11-6.
Williamson jumped out to a 2-0 first quarter lead and increased things to 6-2 at half. They were in complete control head into the fourth quarter with a 9-3 lead, before closing things out, to move to 4-4 overall on the year and 3-2 in Liberty division play.
Matt Dickinson (FR/Springfield, PA) led the way for Williamson with four goals and two assists, while Konnor Oreskovich (JR/Glenolden, PA) returned from last week's horticulture trip to Mississippi to add two goals and three assists. Jack Welsh (FR/Broomall, PA) had another big game in net, stopping 19 shots.
Williamson gets back into actin on Wednesday, as they play at Union County College in a 4:00 P.M. start. The field is located at 201 Oak Ridge Rd. Clark, NJ. The field and parking lot will be located across the street from this address.
