Mechanics Move to 5-0

The Williamson defense was on full display Wednesday night, as they completely shut the Mercer County Community College offense down until the waning moments of the game, in a commanding 12-1 win over the Vikings.

Mercer's offensive chances were severely limited throughout the contest and when they did get chances, Williamson standout goalie Jack Welsh was equal to the task, as he stopped 10 shots on the night.  Chris Meiklejohn, Nick DelVecchio, Seamus Dougherty and Jacob Behrle were among the standouts on defense for the Mechanics.

Offensively, Williamson's Matt Dickinson had five goals and an assist to lead the way.  Cooper Conroy added two goals and an assist, while Rob Wagner also netted two goals, as did Anthony ZolloSean Lohr also chipped in with a goal and an assist.

The win moves Williamson to 5-0.  They will face perhaps their biggest challenge to date on Friday as they travel to Maryland to take on NJCAA powerhouse Anne Arundel in a 6:00 P.M. contest.
