Wrestling Sweeps Tri-meet, Remains Undefeated

The Williamson wrestling team hosted their first home match of the year on Saturday and while the venue changed, the results remained the same, as Williamson took down both Temple and West Chester Universities to remain undefeated on the year.

Williamson dominated their opening match against Temple, as the blanked the Owls, 60-0.  Their second match against West Chester was a much tighter event, as Williamson found themselves down twice, before coming back both times.  The eventually pulled out a tough 34-26 win over the Golden Rams.

Senior Michael Kling and freshman Ali Cheeks had big days to lead the way for the Mechanics.  Both pinned their opponents in the team's match against Temple and both followed that up with technical fall wins against West Chester.

Williamson moves to 5-0 on the year and next hosts Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in a 6:30 P.M> start on Wednesday.
