Hernandez’s Big Race Fuels Mechanics

Freshman standout Bryan Hernandez had a big race that helped lead Williamson to a fifth-place overall finish at the 2024 Bryn Athyn College Invitational on Saturday.  Teammates Amir Price, Denton Reff and Antonio Silva placed 20th, 23rd and 24th overall to help lead Williamson to a strong finish on the day.

Hernandez, who missed last week's race due to an illness, came back strong this week, as he covered the course in 28:44.

"Our guys worked hard.  All-in-all, it was a good day for us," shared Williamson head coach Steve Hixson.  "We are still missing some guys but the guys that were able to run gave it a great effort.  Our goal is to get better each week, as individuals and a team, and we did just that today.

"I'm proud of their efforts today."

The team next takes part in the Dan Talbot race at Rose Tree Park this Friday.
